Japanese Throw Liberal Democrats Out Like Garbage

Author: An extraordinary political event has taken place in Japan: the nation’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party has lost the status of the ‘ruling party’ for the first time in post-WWII history. This is something that one could not even imagine only a couple of years ago. Japanese Democrats with 62-year-old Yukio Hatoyama at the head received 308 of 480 seats in the lower house of the Japanese parliament. This is a historical event too

Two presidents infected with swine flu
Colombian President Alvaro Uribe has the swine flu and officials have advised other South American leaders who met with him at a summit of the infection, authorities said Sunday. The 57-year-old Uribe began feeling symptoms Friday, the same day as a meeting of South American presidents in Bariloche, Argentina, and he was confirmed to have swine flu after returning home, Social Protection Minister Diego Palacio said
